I’m currently trying to revamp my entire wardrobe. I really need new summer shoes and I want some sexy heels. Love these mules from Jimmy Choo and Azalea Wang.
I love to wear body oils in the summer. I really want to try this Black owned brand Brown Sugar Babe and I want to give this new shimmer oil by L’Occitane a try.
Pilates is my next adventure in the gym and I want to get a nice little setup for home. I love the chocolate color on this Better Me kit. I found another kit for a lower price here.
These satin shorts popped up as an ad for me and they definitely got me. I LOVE them and I plan to get multiple colors.
I’ve developed a habit of collecting mugs and dinnerware. I want these flame Le Creuset mugs to match my dinner plates I recently found(more on that later). Also , I want to get this butterfly Christian Lacroix mug, butterflies have a special meaning for me so anything with butterflies always catch my attention.
I’m searching for good quality t-shirts that I can mix into my wardrobe. Hopefully these Gap t-shirts are good.
All of the skincare gadgets intrigue me. I really want to try this mask, I love that it’s lightweight and you can walk around with it.
1. I found this banana syrup and brown sugar cinnamon syrup walking around Home Goods recently and I am obsessed. I linked them here but don’t buy them online. They are much cheaper in Home Goods. My iced coffees at home have been top tier.
2. I can’t stop drinking this cinnamon black tea, I drink it almost everyday if I’m not having an iced coffee. Don’t buy this online, it’s cheaper in your local grocery store.
3. More fishwife! The girls are buying this up and it’s getting harder to find! I tried the tuna in spicy olive oil and I get it. I need more.
4. I love listening to audiobooks. Recently this audiobook, Jaeda by Kimberly Brown really did it for me. It was light and it felt good. This book is apart of a series called The Dillinger Chronicles. The whole series is great.
5. This Cecred hair oil is amazing. I’m not going to lie and act like it’s the most affordable haircare but when it works it works. I use this when I’m blowdrying my hair and it gives it a soft and beautiful shine. A little goes a long way.
6. These are my Le Creuset dinner plates that I found randomly in a TJ Maxx. I also found this mini cocette pot as well. The dinner plates were on clearance for $12 each. The pot was $16. For perspective a set of 4 dinner plates retail are $80. This essentially launched me into collecting all things Le Creuset. I have been converted.
Rain + Green Grass, I feel really old saying it, but I appreciate being able to look at the green grass in front of my home. I know that’s not something that everyone is able to do and it’s a privilege in some ways. But it’s an accomplishment for me seeing something I took the time to take care of, grow and become healthy. If you saw what it looked like before you would understand. Ha!
Being a creative person I tend to get overwhelmed a lot. Sometimes I need to focus and I can’t do that with a lot of background noise. I need to quiet my mind. I’ve created a playlist to help myself focus and I learned that brown noise, pink noise, green noise, they all help calm me down. When I really need to lock in and get to work or simply sit down to think or plan my day, I will listen to these sounds on a loop.
I recently celebrated my Birthday and this year I’m even more grateful for it after a recent health scare I had. This year is the end of another decade for me and the one thing I want the most is to have the most fun possible.
And I’m grateful for one of the most important people in my life. My husband. He’s one of the most loving people I’ve ever met. He is truly my protector and he truly cares about my happiness. I never met anyone else who understands me for who I am. To be seen is to be loved. Also don’t get it twisted, he’s someone who doesn’t play about me. At all. Ha!
